When it comes to stopping the spread of an oil spill, this Andax Spyder-Sox™ 18" oil Sorb-Sox w/ Handle is the answer. Just lay this absorbent oil sock down in the path of an oil spill or leak and watch it block the flow. Composed of filler specifically designed for oil and oil-based liquids, it will absorb up to a gallon per each sock. Need a different size? By being an absorbent for petroleum-based liquids and not water, this oil sock can take in more oil and be left on the job longer. It floats for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons. This oil absorbent sock is ideal for surrounding spilled fluids or wrapping around leaky machines. Easy and convenient to put into place, the oil absorbent sock helps contain an oil spill to keep oil fluids from spreading into larger areas and becoming slippery hazards. It is also flexible enough to conform around machine bases and offer a snug fit with no seepage.
The stock Spyder-Sox™ is made with three 18" oil absorbent socks connected with a 1" orange webbing handle. If that isn't enough absorbent power for you, add more "legs" to your absorbent sock. You can have up to eight legs to create the ultimate absorbent sock!
