This recycled Oil-Selective Cellulose Sorbent  soaks up oils, fuels, and solvents, not water! This oil absorbent works great indoors or out and incinerates to less than 1% ash. The loose oil absorbent is also SCS Green Cross Certified.

This loose cellulose absorbent is designed to contain and control hydrocarbons (oil-based liquids) while repelling water. This absorbent can absorb 2-3 times more than polypropylene and is 100% organic and environmentally friendly. The absorbent can be used where a different oil absorbent won’t fit. The loose absorbent is made from wood pulp reclaimed from the manufacturing of paper products. Manufactured through a patented process, the loose cellulose absorbent absorbs oil immediately on contact while repelling water; the loose absorbent even floats when saturated. The hydrocarbons are absorbed into the cellulose fibers of the loose absorbent, preventing leaching in and draining commonly associated with polypropylene sorbents.
