This loose cellulose absorbent is designed to contain and control unwanted liquid spills ranging from oil and solvents to water and non-aggressive chemicals. The general-purpose absorbent can absorb 2-3 times more spill liquids than polypropylene. When you use the cellulose absorbent, you are using an absorbent that is 100% organic and environmentally friendly. The loose cellulose absorbent can be used where another general-purpose absorbent can’t fit. The general-purpose loose absorbent is a no free silica product; it prevents health problems associated with clay. The general-purpose loose absorbent is made from reclaimed wood pulp and absorbs liquids on contact through capillary action. The absorbed liquid that the loose absorbent cleans up is locked into the cellulose fiber, preventing leaching and handling problems common with clay and polypropylene sorbents.
