Being prepared for a rainy day can take on a whole new meaning when water is dripping through your office ceiling onto that new computer-controlled piece of equipment. The 60" X 60" Leak Diverter Kit is your first line of defense to keep a bad situation from getting much worse.
You need a solution that will be easy to use and strong enough to do the job safely. Because water weighs 8.35 lbs. per gallon, we make the Leak Diverter Kit from durable heavy-duty PVC-coated polyester. Once strapped into place, the Leak Diverter Kit funnels water through a full ½" high-visibility yellow hose into a bucket (included) or into your drain. Leak Diverter Kit includes "Caution Wet Floor" label on bucket.
Locate the source of the leak in your ceiling/roof as accurately as possible. Determine from the number and/or size of the leak(s) which size Leak Diverter you will need for the job. Fasten the bungee straps to the corners of the Diverter and attach to a sturdy, secure structure. Attach the Diverter hose to the bottom. Centering the Diverter under the main leak(s), attach the bungee strap ends to four points in the ceiling, making sure they are taut enough to support the Diverter securely. Place the 5-gallon bucket under the center of the Diverter and insert the end of the hose into the bucket to allow for the collection of water. If there is a floor drain available, utilize that instead of the bucket. Check the fluid levels in the bucket repeatedly while leaks are active and empty as needed.
