By being a selective absorbent for petroleum-based liquids and not water, these absorbent oil socks take in more oil and can be left on the job longer. The absorbent oil socks also float for cleanup of waterborne hydrocarbons. The oil absorbent socks are ideal for surrounding spilled fluids or wrapping around leaky machines. Easy and convenient to put into place, the oil absorbent socks help contain an oil spill to keep oil fluids from spreading into larger areas and becoming slippery hazards. The oil absorbent socks are flexible enough to conform around machine bases and offer a snug fit with no seepage. 

The stock Oil Absorbent Sock is made with three 18" oil absorbent socks connected with a 1" orange webbing handle. The oil absorbent socks have a convenient handle for retrieving the oil socks. The oil absorbent socks work great as a filter on drains by capturing oil and letting water through.
